The ICLab team attended the Internet Interference Workshop held by Google at Columbia University in October 2014. People involved in various kinds of Internet interference and censorship gathered to discuss various topics including what constitutes censorship, methods of censorship, techniques and methods of measuring censorship on the Internet, and ethics of collecting censorship measurement data.
Participating research teams also explored ways in which they could collaborate with others who do censorship research.
